One thing that Poe hadn't counted on, when he'd asked Coop out, had been the scary proximity to Valentine's Day. How was he supposed to know? It's not like they have this holiday where he's from and last year this time, he'd been preoccupied with trying to find a way back. As it stands, when he goes out to start thinking of a date idea, he's swarmed with discount chocolate, flowers, and the kind of scary paraphernalia that made Poe wonder how romance even got involved with any of this. In the end, he settles for something casual, though he does pick up some cheap chocolate, because you can't go wrong.

He's dressed in a nice brown sweater with tight jeans, his leather jacket not really working as much as he'd like in the cold, but doing a bang-up job of making him look great. Now, he just needs to pick Coop up, heading over to his place after a quick text.

He might also have a joke gift, but that's just for him to know about and enjoy. Leaning against Coop's doorway, he lifts the tiny heart-adorned bear to the peep glass, smirking as he affects a high-pitched voice. "Is Coop home? His wuvvy bear misses him," he mocks, twisting it side to side. It's cute, don't get him wrong, but he completely doesn't understand it's purpose, like, at all.
